Cvt whining noise.

2010 Cube whining noise. Not sure if this is the correct section to ask, but my 2010 Cube makes an intense whining noise right when I start it up. And then gets quiet after a few seconds but is still present. It gets a little louder when accelerating. The sound seems to be coming from the engine area.Overall its your car do what you want with it. I would definitely not worry about the whining noise though. This may be interesting to you idk but, the car has a system where it doesn't let you shift when the transmission / CVT fluid is cold. As it's started to get colder out i have started to notice a whine noise if it's below 50 degrees out. This only happens in the morning on a cold start and goes away within a couple of minutes at most.
