For an easier hike, you can opt to stay on top of the rim of the canyon and hike an out-and-back along the Dog Hole Trail. The choice is yours! A great hike that is wooded and shaded the vast majority of the way. There are some rocky areas and a few good climbs so be prepared. This trail takes you past three waterfalls and lots of beautiful overlooks.
