Dec 31, 2018 · Cost me 44 bucks but Sig paid shipping. Eventually sold the gun to finance a project. Third, Decided to take another chance, bought this latest P320 a month ago despite reservations. Liked the trigger, dry-fired in shop, but the takedown lever was very stiff to begin with right out of the box.

Last night I removed the FCU from my P320 Compact for cleaning. When I was done cleaning, I reinserted the FCU into the frame (easy enough). The difficulty I have is getting the takedown pin back into the hole. I had to be pretty forceful, while turning it, to get it through. On my P320 I took the slide off the frame, took the take down lever out, put a little TW25 on it, reinserted and worked it multiple times with the slide still off the frame. With it in the 6:00 position put the slide back on and return the lever to normal. Lock the slide back and work the lever to the 6:00 and back up multiple times.

Called Sig Customer Service and here is what I was told and it works. As you rotate the lever you need to push it into the frame at the same time. Pushed really hard in both directions and it rotated. The CSR said that the new 320 take down lever is difficult at first, but will improve as it wears in.
