Nissan xterra vdc off slip reset.
After taking the clock spring out a few times and studying the issue, I noticed that the steering wheel/the alignment was off-center. If you read about the VDC, you will find that it is integral to the angle sensor. After much research and thought, I decided to ask the dealer to align (front toe) the Armada and then reset the VDC/Slip light.

This cleared the VDC and Slip problem, but there must be a more direct way. Any help would be appreciated. Hi! What I have seen on the xterra is the steering angle sensors out of adjust, this will turn on the lights. You will have to reset with the nissan scan tool, for center wheel adjustment setting. If I hit the rear diff switch the REAR DIFF light goes out and then ABS and SLIP come on.
