The straight gas did not usually have a load adjustment. The head was removed due to a bad gasket (the split head, gasket was out) Since we had the head off they went through it and round the values, seals the who 9 yards. The new engine ran well this Summer, although occasionally I would have to adjust the power adjustment screw to add more fuel when a heavy load was on the engine.Find where the jets are, and open it up so you can get to them. Then take a thin piee of wire and poke it through the jet to knock out any junk in there. Rinse it with carb cleaner, put back together, and it should be good to go.
