I think I figured out how to stop it. Take every thing off of the mannequin, leave your house, then return. If the mannequin has nothing on it when you re-enter your house, then you should be good to go. This worked for me, I had the same problem, lol. You just need to have enough, where your game starts to lag. Once that happens, throw down your Jarrin root, and proceed with the glitch. It should duplicate. I'm guessing this works because the game has a hard time keeping up with the hundreds on hundreds of items. IDK, but it worked.
If you mean about followers duplicate glitch, you must ask followers to take item without moving (drop it under follower's feet), then reset the area by go to other area, and come back. However there is 3 kind item you can't duplicated. Item with static Ref ID (Jagged Crown, and Aetherial Crown, Rueful Axe, Bloodskal Blade, etc)
